- Expanding food distribution service by supplying "American slices" to popular US vegan burger chain "Slutty Vegan"
- Armored Fresh continues its expansion of retail and food distribution services in the US and has made a bold move into online retail.
Korean food tech company, Armored Fresh (CEO: Oh Kyung-ah), is making a full-fledged entry into the food distribution service by supplying its own developed "American Slice" vegan cheese to the popular US vegan burger chain, "Slutty Vegan".

Armored Fresh expanded its retail distribution channel throughout the United States by supplying its new product, "American Slice" vegan cheese, to Kroger, the largest supermarket chain in the United States, in March. Following that, they entered the US B2B food distribution market by supplying 100% domestically produced vegan cheese to "Slutty Vegan," a popular vegan burger restaurant chain brand that is rapidly growing throughout the United States, continuing its relentless pursuit of the global market.
The popular American burger chain "Slutty Vegan," which has gained popularity in Georgia, New York, Alabama, and other regions across the US, is known for its various burger menus that can be enjoyed not only by vegetarians but also by the general public without hesitation. Recently, it has become a famous vegan fast food restaurant that famous people such as former NBA player Shaquille O'Neal, singer Snoop Dogg, and record producer Jermaine Dupri enjoy visiting. Starting this year, "Slutty Vegan" plans to replace the cheese topping for their cheeseburger menu with Armored Fresh's "American Slice" vegan cheese.
Through the recent supply of Armored Fresh's vegan cheese to 'Slutty Vegan', Armored Fresh plans to expand its distribution services and secure a wider range of customers. This is because the broad customer base of 'Slutty Vegan' aligns with Armored Fresh's corporate direction, which competes with animal-based cheese. In particular, the 'American Slice' cheese boasts a high level of quality, with a smooth and chewy texture and improved 'melting' that was difficult to achieve with existing vegan cheeses. As a result, Armored Fresh expects to gain high popularity among 'Slutty Vegan' customers.
Armored Fresh has been focusing on expanding its store network in the United States since entering the world's largest vegan population country last year, using Cube Cheese and American Slice to promote its products. In addition to expanding its retail distribution channels, the company plans to start selling its products on its official online shopping mall and on Amazon later this month to expand its reach to global consumers.
Armored Fresh's International Business team leader Sara Jo said, "We are pleased to have supplied our cheese to the popular vegan burger chain, Slutty Vegan, in the United States, where there is high demand for cheese as shown by a survey in the fast food market, which found that 74% of Americans prefer burgers with cheese toppings. Starting with this expansion of our food distribution service, we will do our best to introduce our products to more local vegan restaurants in the future."
