Korean food tech company YANGYOO has changed its name to "ARMORED FRESH" to diversify its existing F&B business through self-developed plant-based cheese and in order to enter the overseas market.

YANGYOO held an extraordinary shareholders' meeting at the end of March to discuss the agenda for the change of name and finally decided on April 20th as "ARMORED FRESH". ARMORED FRESH, which started anew as a recent mission in May, has finally decided to change its name to diversify its existing F&B business and enter the global market through the know-how accumulated as a food tech company.

The new mission, ARMORED FRESH, means armed freshness. It contains a strong will to protect human health and the environment in pursuit of ultimate freshness.

The change in mission is noteworthy because it applied the mission of "ARMORED FRESH," a U.S. corporation established last year to target the global market. Recently, the decision was made to leap beyond the domestic market to the world stage as it received a lot of attention by introducing "ARMORED FRESH Plant-based Cheese" made with Korea's only unique technology at global fairs such as ‘CES 2022’ and ‘2022 Fancy Food Show.’
