Food tech company ARMORED FRESH (CEO Oh Kyung-ah) will continue its aggressive global move by introducing advertisements for its own "plant-based cheese" product on a large Billboard advertisement spot in Times Square in Manhattan, New York.

ARMORED FRESH, which began opening its products at 100 local supermarkets in New York at the end of September, will take a step toward becoming a global food tech company through their new advertisement. In particular, the billboard advertisement is expected to play a major role in promoting the excellence and competitiveness of K-vegan cheese, as Times Square is a global tourist destination and commercial district with 1.5 million people passing by the square daily.

The billboard ad for ARMORED FRESH is 7.9 meters wide and 7.3 meters long, plastered on a building at New York's 7th Avenue 48th Street, the heart of Times Square. Moreover, the advertisement does not fail to incorporate visual elements that highlight the chewy texture, so as to advocate for the “delicious cheese,” which does not fall behind in the competition with diary cheese. The advertisement also arises curiosity regarding the plant-based product, considering it has the inverted message ‘ZERO DAIRY.’ 

In addition, ARMORED FRESH focused on maximizing advertising effects with the slogan "TASTY CHEESE, ZERO DAIRY." As well as having a visual-oriented concept so that it can easily attract public attention in Times Square.

It is very unusual for a domestic venture company to conduct a Billboard advertisement at Times Square, a landmark in New York. ARMORED FRESH, which had their Billboard advertisement hung up on the 11th (local time), has signed a contract to keep using that same spot for two years, as they will introduce new concepts and material product advertisements every three to four months.

On the other hand, ARMORED FRESH plant-based cheese is receiving a warm welcome from the local market with its excellent taste and texture that is in no way inferior to regular cheese, despite the fact that the company is in the early stages of entering a large U.S. market.
